I am an experienced family law attorney and mediator and ensure that your case and family get the attention they deserve.

I earned my law degree from Marquette University in 2001 and was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin that same year. After practicing law in Milwaukee and surrounding counties for several years, I returned to my home area and continue to practice in the area of family law.

I have always focused my practice on family law cases including:

  • Divorce.
  • Custody and placement.
  • Child support.
  • Paternity.
  • Termination of parental rights and step parent adoptions.
  • Guardianships.
  • Grandparent visitation.
  • Restraining orders.

I serve as a Guardian ad Litem for children and adults and find that can be extremely rewarding.  I also do some criminal work.

Another key facet of my practice is mediation, in which I attempt to guide two parties to a mutually agreed upon resolution. Mediation is a great alternative for those getting divorced as it can be a very cost-effective and low-stress approach. Because I am also a family law attorney, I can help you navigate your way through the court system if you do not have attorneys.  Mediation allows you to resolve your differences on your terms.

I have handled more than 500 family law cases in several different counties.

I currently practice in:

  • Sauk.
  • Juneau.
  • Richland.
  • Columbia.
  • Dane counties.
  • but am available in any county if needed.

I am a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Sauk County Bar Association and the Wisconsin Association of Mediators.
